Delaware birth certificates are available by writing and requesting them or making your request in person. A fee of $10.00 must be paid when applying, and you must provide a photo ID. Delaware Birth Certificates are available dating back to 1937 from the state office. If you require an earlier birth certificate, you may request one by writing to Archives Hall of Records, Dover, DE 19901 and including a copy of your ID and your payment.
