Georgia birth certificates are available dating back to 1919 from the state office. You may also be able to locate earlier Georgia birth certificates by contacting the vital records offices in either Atlanta or Savannah, Georgia. The non-refundable fee is $10.00, and it may be paid by money order. Only the person named or an immediate relative may obtain a Georgia Birth Certificate.
