Essex County, New Jersey Public Records

Some areas of New Jersey have a very long history to them. Others, however, do not have much of a history linked to them at all, at least not one that is listed for the public to know about. When it comes to Essex County, there is not a great deal to talk about. The area was originally formed thanks to the administration who decided that there should be four districts, which included Essex County, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Bergen in 1683. Other than that, the history is relatively staid and not much to talk about.
But that doesn’t mean that relatives and people never lived in the area. Even though a great deal of hugely important things didn’t happen at this county, it doesn’t mean that people didn’t live there. Many people did live in the area, happy for the peace and quiet, and many people now can trace their relatives back to this area and can learn a great deal more about their family history. Those who are looking for Essex County public records will most likely find the information that they’re looking for at the Hall of Records, which is on 465 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, in Newark, NJ.
