Delaware Court Records
To begin, add a court record or view a list of locations and resources for Delaware court records.
Delaware court records are subdivided by which specific court has jurisdiction. The three primary courts are the Court of Chancery, Justice of the Peace Court, and Family Court. If you are attempting to review court records of Delaware which are under the jurisdiction of Family court, then you may consider visiting the Records Room of the Family Court which is where a physical copy of your file will be held.
Any person viewing Delaware court records in the Records Room will be accompanied by a member of the Family Court staff. The reason for this procedure is to avoid any tampering with the official copies.
The Records Room of the Family Court is made open and available to the general public during regular business hours Monday through Friday. In order to view any court records of Delaware you must bring a photo ID such as a driver's license, state identification card, or military ID.
