In the United States, each state has its own authority to determine the legality of providing court records to the general public. In Pennsylvania, the state constitution gives the state Supreme Court authority to prescribe the practices and procedures to access records that are determined to be public.
Are All Pennsylvania Court Records Public?
While most court records are available to the general public, there are certain records and specific information contained in records that are not available to the public.
