A fee of $13.00 should be paid with the application. This fee is not refundable, even if the record cannot be found.

The state office forwards the application to the county where the divorce was granted. In case you know the name of the county, you may send in your application there directly. It will save you a lot of time.

To access the divorce record, you need to provide some relevant information which includes the name of the people involved in the divorce, the date of the divorce, the last address, the maiden name of the wife, and others like this.
