This agency has divorce records for Idaho that date back to mid-1947, with all records more than 50 years considered to be public information.

Idaho Code Title 39, Chapter 2 governs who is and isn't allowed to view records created more recently. While older records may be available, this may require inquiring on the county level, and there's no real way to guarantee you'll find what you need.

You can request Idaho divorce certificates dating back to 1947 from the state offices, or even earlier from the county recorder in the county where the divorce was granted. You will have to pay a fee of $13.00 for a computer generated copy or $18.00 if you want a photo static copy. You must provide a copy of your driver's license, and possibly proof of relationship or eligibility to receive the information requested.
