Marriage records have been kept by the state since 1958. In order to acquire copies of Kentucky marriage certificates, you may contact the state, or the Clerk of County Court in the county where the marriage license was originally issued. The fee for a copy is $6.00 from the state, but may be different if ordered from the county. Photo ID, identifying information, and your signature may all be required.
