About West Virginia Marriage Records
Marriage records in West Virginia are kept with the Vital Registration Office at the Health and Human Services division. An occurrence of marriage record has been kept on file with the office since 1964. A marriage index only is available for the years 1924 to 1963 providing minimal information.
